The Richard Winn Academy Eagles were victorious over the visiting Newberry Academy volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Eagles now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laurens Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Richard Winn Academy will play a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 17-3.

The (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Cambridge Academy (Greenwood, SC). The Cougars enter the SCISA A Region III game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Cambridge Academy gained a win over King Academy (Batesburg, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
