Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) and the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ), observed Payson's volleyball team top San Tan Foothills by a count of 3-0.

The Longhorns (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ). The Golden Eagles enter the 3A - Metro contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Bourgade Catholic was knocked off by Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Sabercats battle the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 3A - Metro battle, on Thursday, September 25. San Tan Foothills will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
