Alabama High School Volleyball - Pickens Academy over Pickens County

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Pickens Academy Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pickens County Tornadoes.

The Pirates (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greensboro (Greensboro, AL). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Greensboro beat Sumter Central (York, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Tornadoes now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Spirit Catholic for a 1A Area 9 test on Thursday, September 25. Pickens County will face a Saints squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Saints record now stands at 4-16.
