Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) and the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), observed Pulaski County's volleyball team top Southwestern by a count of 3-1.

The Maroons (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rockets go into the District 47 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Rockcastle County achieved victory over Casey County (Liberty, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Warriors now own a 1-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27.
