Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) and the visiting Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), observed Rich Township's volleyball team top Thornridge by a tally of 2-0.

The Raptors (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan go into the Southland test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Bloom was defeated by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butler for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. Thornridge will meet a Lynx team coming off a 2-0 league win over Rowe-Clark (Chicago, IL). The Lynx record now stands at 5-0.
