Arizona High School Volleyball - Thatcher can't hold off Safford

In Tuesday's league bout, the Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) volleyball team held off the visiting Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), by a margin of 3-2.

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host ALA - Ironwood for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. Safford will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Thatcher drops to 5-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Hawks in a 3A - South match on Tuesday, September 30. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 13-10. Tanque Verde won 3-0 in their recent league match against Catalina (Tucson, AZ)
