The Southern Trojans volleyball team scored 25 points and restricted the visiting Western Warriors to 13 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Waggener for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 24. Southern will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Moore (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Western drops to 0-11 on the campaign. The Warriors host Iroquois (Louisville, KY) to confront the Raiders in a District 22 game on Thursday, September 25. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 2-5. Iroquois lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY)
