In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Villanova Prep Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the St. Bonaventure Seraphs.

The Wildcats (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Thacher (Ojai, CA). The Toads come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Thacher was edged by Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Seraphs now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cate for a Tri-Valley test on Friday, September 26. St. Bonaventure will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Rams record now stands at 7-3.
