The Bloomfield Bobcats football team (Bloomfield, NM), was beaten 34-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM)

The Jaguars (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the 4A District 5/6 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Grants was beaten by Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 63-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shiprock for a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 8.
