In Saturday's league game, the Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) football team tipped the visiting Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE), by a final score of 38-34.

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE). The Green Knights come into the 2A District 2 game with a 0-2 record.

The Auks now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wilmington Friends for a 2A District 2 game on Saturday, October 1. Archmere Academy will battle a Quakers team coming off a 43-7 league win over Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers record now stands at 3-0.
