Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Hand will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Governors enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 12-0 league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT).

The Trojans now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeler for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 24.
