The Lewis-Palmer Rangers got by the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder softball squad by a count of 9-8 in Saturday's league battle.
The Rangers (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne Mountain nudged The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO), 15-2, in a non-league battle.
The Thunder now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Cheyenne Mountain for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 24. Discovery Canyon will meet a Red-Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 6-1.
