Nebraska High School Softball - Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan gets by Fairbury

The Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan got by the host Fairbury Jeffs softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The (13-11) will now prepare for their battle against Milford (Milford, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Milford nudged Blue River (David City, NE), 18-10, in a non-league battle.

The Jeffs now sport a 5-19 record. They play next when they host Norris for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 27. Fairbury will meet a Titans squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Titans record now stands at 12-9.
