Nebraska High School Softball - Fremont bounces Pius X

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) and the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), saw Fremont's softball squad achieve victory over Pius X by a count of 10-0.

The Tigers now sport a 23-8 record. They take the field next when they host Marian for a non-league match on Saturday, September 24. Fremont will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Burke (Omaha, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 21-2.

With the loss, Pius X falls to 16-17 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to McCook (McCook, NE) to face the Bison in a non-league match on Saturday, September 24. The Bison enter the match with a record of 7-13.
