Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), 13-6 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mullen for a 5A/4A Centennial challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Grandview will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Smoky Hill falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to battle the Bruins in a 5A/4A Centennial challenge on Wednesday, September 28. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Cherry Creek lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)
