The Pius X Thunderbolts softball team (Lincoln, NE), was routed 4-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE)

Coming up next, the Crusaders clash with the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 24. Marian will attempt to improve on its 24-2 season record.

The Thunderbolts (16-17) will now prepare for their test against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 21-7 record. In their last test, Fremont edged Bryan (Omaha, NE), 10-0, in a league test.
