Illinois High School Volleyball - Beecher nudged by Coal City

The Coal City Coalers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Beecher Bobcats to 1 in the Coalers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Coalers now have a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peotone for a Illinois Central Eight game on Tuesday, September 27. Coal City will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Momence (Momence, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-7.

The Bobcats (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Momence (Momence, IL). The Momence Athletics enter the River Valley game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Momence nipped Peotone (Peotone, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
