The Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) volleyball were winner over the host Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Central betters its record to 15-9 on the year. The Spartans host Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA) to face the Scots in a Desert outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Scots go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
The Aztecs now sport a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they host Mira Mesa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 27. Montgomery will encounter a Marauders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 6-6.
