In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Conway Wampus Cats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Valley View Blazers.

The Wampus Cats (19-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Cabot nudged North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 3-1, in a league test.

The Blazers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, AR). The Patriots enter the 5A East test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Marion was nudged by Brookland (Brookland, AR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
