The DeSoto Central Jaguars topped the visiting Lafayette Commodores volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Jaguars now have a 15-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Briarcrest Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27. DeSoto Central will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Saints record now stands at 28-6.

The Commodores (12-9) will now prepare for their test against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons enter the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, St. George's gained a win over Madison Central (Madison, MS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
