In Saturday's non-league contest, the Niobrara County Tigers (Lusk, WY) volleyball squad were winner over the host HEM Miners (Hanna, WY), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Tigers meet the Pine Bluffs Hornets (Pine Bluffs, WY) in a 2A Southeast game, on Friday, September 30. Niobrara County will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Kimball (Kimball, NE).

The Miners (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY). The Doggers enter the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Lingle-Fort Laramie was dropped by Burns (Burns, WY), 3-1, in a league game.
