Texas High School Volleyball - Vega routed by West Texas

The Vega Longhorns volleyball team (Vega, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX)

The Comanches (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region I District 1 challenge with a 2-10 record.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Vega will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 23-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Memphis (Memphis, TX).
