Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) and the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), observed Edison's volleyball team top Lewis by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials enter the National contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology beat Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers meet the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) in a National contest, on Thursday, September 26. Lewis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA).
