The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls smashed the visiting Lovington Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Cavemen/Cavegirls clash with the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a 5A District 4 game, on Tuesday, October 1. Carlsbad will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record.
The Wildcats (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the 4A District 4 game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Artesia edged Roswell (Roswell, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
