Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Laney moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-1. West Brunswick won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Topsail for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. New Hanover will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.
