With the win, Amador Valley improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dons travel to California (San Ramon, CA) to encounter the Grizzlies in a battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 6-5.

The Matadors now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livermore for a battle on Thursday, September 26.
