In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rustburg Red Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.

The Red Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Liberty beat Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Amherst County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).
