The Vikings now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Draughn for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. Avery County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Rosman drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Madison (Marshall, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Madison lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)
