In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Hoke County Bucks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lee County Yellow Jackets.

The Bucks (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Richmond was tipped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 25. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC).
