Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) and the visiting Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), observed Northwest Christian School's volleyball team hold off Newport by a tally of 2-1.

The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. George's (Spokane, WA). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, St. George's was tipped by Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Screaming Eagles enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA).
