In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Cox Mill Chargers.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings go into the Greater Metro 4A outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, South Iredell was edged by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 9-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A outing, on Thursday, September 26. Cox Mill will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a 8-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
