McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, McLoughlin moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 test on Saturday, September 28. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-7.

The Knights now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Umatilla for a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 test on Thursday, September 26. Irrigon will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 league win over Four Rivers (Ontario, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
