In Tuesday's league outing, the host Wilmington Greyhounds soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Mercer Mustangs.

The Greyhounds (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Greenville was edged by Hickory (Hermitage, PA), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 26. Mercer will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 3-7 record after their 5-0 league loss to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).
