Nebraska High School Softball - Highway 91 knocked off by Aquinas

The Aquinas Monarchs overwhelmed the visiting Highway 91 softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs meet the North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Schuyler (Schuyler, NE).

The (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians go into the non-league challenge with a 4-17 record. In their last challenge, Ponca was routed by Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
