The Perkins-Tryon Demons overwhelmed the host Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish softball squad by a count of 11-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Demons meet the Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Perkins-Tryon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-20 season record. The Maroons go into the challenge with a 27-6 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Enid (Enid, OK).
The Fighting Irish (12-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Noble (Noble, OK). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 17-16 record. In their last challenge, Noble was routed by Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
