The Bowdon Red Devils softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Mt. Zion Eagles to 7 in the Red Devils league win on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Zion for a 1A D-II Region 7 battle on Tuesday, September 24. Bowdon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 8-2 league win over Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Mt. Zion moves to 5-13 on the season. The Eagles host Riverdale (Riverdale, GA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 14-5. Riverdale won 9-4 in their recent league battle against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)
