The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) and the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), observed Bryan County's softball team prevail over McIntosh County Academy by a tally of 15-6.

The Redskins (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks go into the non-league bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Islands knocked off Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 9-8, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 bout, on Monday, September 30. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 5-4 league win over Portal (Portal, GA).
