The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) and the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), observed Walnut Grove's softball team prevail over Cedar Shoals by a tally of 20-0.

The Warriors (8-13) will now prepare for their bout against Eastside (Covington, GA). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 8 bout with a 17-0 record. In their last bout, Eastside knocked off Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 8-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a 4A Region 8 battle, on Wednesday, September 25. Cedar Shoals will attempt to move on its 3-17 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Jones County (Gray, GA).
