The Clinch County Panthers softball squad (Homerville, GA), was routed 15-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA)

With the triumph, Lanier County improves its record to 18-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to face the Wildcats in a 1A D-II Region 2 contest on Tuesday, October 1. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 4-13.

The Panthers now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Brooks County for a 1A D-II Region 2 contest on Wednesday, September 25. Clinch County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 19-13 league loss to Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-10.
