The Putnam City West Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex to 10 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Putnam City West improves its record to 3-18 on the year. The Patriots travel to Grant (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Generals in a non-league game on Friday, September 27. The Generals enter the game with a record of 22-3. Grant won 10-1 in their recent non-league game against Capitol Hill (Oklahoma City, OK)

The Ruf-Nex now hold a 8-19 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Hall for a non-league game on Thursday, September 26.
