With the triumph, Eastside improves its record to 17-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to face the Warriors in a 4A Region 8 contest on Monday, September 30. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 8-13. Walnut Grove won 20-0 in their recent league contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)

The Red Raiders now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 28. Madison County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Westside (Augusta, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-5.
