In Tuesday's league match, the host MacArthur Highlanders softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Eisenhower Eagles.

The Highlanders (11-16) will now prepare for their match against Altus (Altus, OK). The Bulldogs come into the 5A District 1 match with a 14-13 record. In their last match, Altus was nipped by Elgin (Elgin, OK), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) in a 5A District 1 match, on Thursday, September 26. Eisenhower will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record. The Bluejays come into the match with a 19-7 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK).
