In Tuesday's league test, the Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Fighting Indians clash with the Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 26. Jackson will attempt to advance on its 18-8 season record.

The Mules (5-9) will now prepare for their test against East Carter (Ellsinore, MO). The Redbirds enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, East Carter was routed by Van Buren (Van Buren, MO), 11-10, in a non-league challenge.
