The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) and the host Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE), observed Lincoln Southwest's softball team prevail over Kearney by a tally of 13-2.

The Silver Hawks (21-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE). The Links go into the A District bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Lincoln High was routed by Benson (Omaha, NE), 15-14, in a league challenge.

The Bearcats (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Island (Grand Island, NE). The Islanders go into the A District challenge with a 4-18 record. In their last challenge, Grand Island toppled Fremont (Fremont, NE), 1-0, in a league challenge.
