In Tuesday's league match, the host Kell Longhorns softball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Westminster Wildcats.

The Longhorns (18-4) will now prepare for their match against Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Knights go into the 4A Region 6 match with a 5-20 record. In their last match, Centennial was routed by Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA), 17-9, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Cambridge Bears (Milton, GA) in a 4A Region 6 match, on Thursday, September 26. Westminster will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 19-4 record after their 5-2 league win over Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA).
