Virginia High School Volleyball - Amelia County over Cumberland

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Amelia County Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cumberland Dukes.

The Raiders (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen come into the James River challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Randolph-Henry beat Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dukes play the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
