North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Wake Academy over Ascend Leadership

September 24, 2024: Holly Springs, NC 27540

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) and the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), observed Southern Wake Academy's volleyball team top Ascend Leadership by a tally of 3-0.

The Lions (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against River Mill (Graham, NC). The Jaguars enter the Central Tar Heel 1A contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, River Mill was beaten by Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Aviators meet the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest, on Thursday, September 26. Ascend Leadership will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC).
