In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Head-Royce Jayhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Athenian Owls.
The Jayhawks (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against The Bay School (San Francisco, CA). The Breakers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, The Bay School was beaten by College Prep (Oakland, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls meet the College Prep Cougars (Oakland, CA) in a Bay Counties - East challenge, on Friday, September 27. Athenian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Urban (San Francisco, CA).
