The Steele Comets volleyball squad (Amherst, OH), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH)

With the win, Avon Lake improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Shoremen host Elyria (Elyria, OH) to encounter the Pioneers in a Southwestern battle on Thursday, September 26. The Pioneers go into the battle with a record of 4-13.

The Comets now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olmsted Falls for a Southwestern battle on Thursday, September 26. Steele will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
