In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Millington Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Bad Axe Hatchets.

The Cardinals (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-15 record. In their last challenge, Laker was tipped by Reese (Reese, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hatchets meet the Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Bad Axe will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Vulcans enter the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI).
